Covid commission report
Greetings church family!
As a church family and community, we continue to battle Covid together. The best way to lower your risk and help others is to 1) get vaccinated, 2) stay home if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms of illness, and 3) if you test positive, inform the community health department so they can begin background tracing.
The most common spread of the virus is through air-borne transmission. The Commission strongly urges and highly recommends the wearing of masks when indoors or in close quarters, wash hands frequently, stay spaced when possible, stay home if you feel sick or experience any respiratory symptoms and get vaccinated. If you have been exposed, or in close contact with a positive case or someone symptomatic, you should seek testing 5 days after the exposure. (Close contact is being exposed for 15 minutes or more cumulative time in 24 hours).
The Commission is constantly studying the data, trends and research. Our goal is to offer as many ministry opportunities as possible with the lowest possible risk to the congregation. We are thankful for the medical expertise on our team, for your patience and prayers as we move along, and for the protection and grace shown to us by our Sovereign God.
